New York
Considering that New York is always a hub of activity, it’s not too surprising that it’s home to some of the greatest taste experiences in America. No matter what you’re in the mood for, there’s sure to be a restaurant for it somewhere in this city. Whether its Asian cuisine, Greek delicacies, or dishes plucked straight out of Italy, New York has you covered. The constant flow of people might be a nightmare to deal with, but at least it’s worth it for all the delicious grub around here.
Portland
Food lovers would do well to get themselves over to Portland if their taste buds are tingling. San Francisco
If its fresh produce you’re after, San Francisco has you covered. A lot of food is grown in this region because the conditions are ideal for agriculture, so plenty of restaurants serve stuff from just down the street. Whether you’re on a health kick or simply looking to celebrate the local flavor, San Francisco won’t disappoint. Of course, it’s not just the fresh produce that makes this city so great for foodies. No less than six restaurants have three Michelin stars, so the food is obviously cooked to an excellent standard here.
Chicago
People don’t tend to visit Chicago because they’re crazy about the weather. However, while mother nature might not always be on this city’s side, you don’t need sunshine to enjoy a great meal. Chicago is bursting with flavor, with plenty of classic dishes taking center stage here. Things like burgers and hot dogs are particular favorites with visitors, whether they’re off to see a ball game or not. If you prefer something a bit more adventurous, the city also has an excellent Mexican food scene fronted by several of the best chefs in the business.
No matter where you are in the world, there are sure to be some fantastic places to eat at. However, the sheer size of these cities and their eclectic mix of dishes means that their dining experiences really are a cut above the rest.
